Q. 신촌엔 무슨 일이세요?

Origa: We live here. It’s close to our university.

여기 살아요. 우리 학교랑 가깝거든요.

 Q. 어디서 오셨어요? ‘-‘

O: I’m from Germany and she’s from Russia.

저는 독일에서 왔고 얘는 러시아에서 왔어요.

Q. 한국의 크리스마스와 여러분 나라의 크리스마스는 어떻게 다른가요?

O: Christmas in Korea is like ‘friends or couples’ mostly, not family. But I’m from Germany and in Germany, it’s like a family festival.

한국의 크리스마스는 좀 대부분 가족보다는 친구와 연인들의 날인 것 같아요. 그런데 독일에서는 가족과 보내는 휴일에 가깝죠.

Jacqueline: I’m from Russia, and we don’t have such Christmas.

저는 러시아에서 왔는데, 우리는 크리스마스 같은 게 없어요.

Q. 오늘 신촌에서 보낸 크리스마스는 어떠셨어요?

J, O: Sooooo many people! It was kind of strange. But it’s quite nice experience. But I think it has been different like, in European Christmas it’s more like family festival, but in here it’s like additional day of shopping.

사람이 너무 많아요! 신기했어요. 그치만 괜찮은 경험이었던 것 같아요. 유럽의 크리스마스는 가족행사라면, 여기서는 그냥 쇼핑하기 좋은 휴일이 하나 더 있는 느낌?
